Getting Through Uncertain Times

I hope you and your loved ones are staying healthy and well during this time of anxiety and uncertainty around the COVID-19 pandemic. People throughout the world are dealing with this in different ways, but we’re all equally indebted to those serving on the frontlines of care. If you or a loved one is a healthcare provider, thank you for your service.

If you’re like me and taking health precautions by social distancing and adopting major routine changes, you’re probably finding increased time to fill at home. If you’re stuck on your couch, visiting virtual museums and going on virtual Disney rides can be a great way to keep an upbeat attitude. Now is also a very good time to strategize for your financial future while markets are changing and while you have the gift of free time.

No one can predict the future, but we’re seeing some trends of a recession unfolding. For some, this may lead to job uncertainty and more potential stress ahead. Here are some tips for protecting your job in a recession.

One of the best things you can do to reduce stress if you’re worried about your job is to save money now. Here’s a list a ways you can save money during the pandemic. Saving money will also position you to buy stocks at lower prices if the market falls further. It always feels good to be ready.

There’s a myth that financially successful people are successful all the time. That’s not true at all! Many have gone from poverty to wealth, and then back to poverty again. What makes the difference between the successful and unsuccessful is their commitment to success. Even if you aren’t where you want to be right now, you can get to a place of financial peace and security. Having a positive mental attitude during hard times can be a challenge. Remember that I’m here for you, so if you have a question, comment or request, send me an email. We are in this together, and I’m here to support you!

It can be difficult to make it through economically hard times, but I can assist you directly when you join my membership program. We will work together to get you to your financial goals. We will do this even in times like these where there is uncertainty and fear about the future.

To educate yourself on personal finances, I encourage you to pick up copies of my books The Money Mission, Tax Saving Strategies, and The Blended Retirement System.

Stay safe this weekend, and I’ll talk to you again very soon.
