Maximize Your Income ๐Ÿ‘

Income is the most important ingredient in your path to financial freedom. If you can increase your income enough, you’ll reach your financial goals in record time.
How do you do this?
First, you must establish a strong connection with your reason. In The 10x Rule, Grant Cardone describes what drove him to success: A pathological fear of being anything less than number one. What’s your core fear? Be honest with yourself. Fear and pain are much more powerful motivators than pleasure.
Once you have established your reason, you must set a goal and then formulate a strategy for achieving the desired income level. Don’t aim low, don’t set a realistic goal. Aim for the stars. You want something that truly motivates you. Your intermediate goals can be realistic, but your ultimate goal should be inspirational. โ˜€๏ธ
Once you’ve completed goal setting, then you need to focus on putting a strategy together that empowers you to reach that goal. Here are some strategies you can use.
1. Ask for a raise. ๐Ÿ’ต
This is a simple (although not easy) way of increasing your income. The best way to do this is when you are actively adding more value to your organization. Always ask in terms of wanting increased responsibility. The goal is to be more productive. You want to earn more without necessarily working longer hours.
2. Look for a new job. ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ผ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ผ
If you can’t get a raise, and you believe you can earn more elsewhere, then you might look for a new job. Start inside your current organization. As we enter a recession, you may want to hang onto your current job until you have another that’s more stable. You want to find a job that you enjoy, that pays you more, and that you have a connection to through others. Having a personal connection will give you a much better chance of landing the new job.
3. Get a second job. ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿญ
Deliver pizza, drive for a ride-share company, or start a side-hustle on Upwork. The options are nearly endless. If you work from home and you don’t have any restrictions with your current employer, you can combine strategies. You might look for a new part-time job and still work your full-time job (while asking for a raise).
4. Work on the holidays. ๐Ÿ“…
Working holidays earns you extra income to gain momentum. It also gives you opportunity to earn more if you get paid overtime or double time.
5. Review your employee benefits. ๐Ÿ’ฐ
You may not be using all your employee benefits. Talk to your employer’s Director of Benefits or Human Resources to learn more.
Keep in mind that building a large income can take time. Work hard, stay focused, and be patient with yourself. If you adopt a few strategies and stick with them, the results could be amazing. ๐Ÿ’ช
Have a great weekend, and I’ll talk to you again soon!
